* Setting up new search plans, ceding companies, new reinsurers, and treaties on reinsurance administration system to be in compliance with executed reinsurance agreements. * Testing new treaties and processes to make sure cessions are created and processed correctly. * Studying processes and looking for ways to improve and automate. * Developing and maintaining documentation on manuals and procedures. * Performing complex reinsurance transactions and providing training to department staff. * Developing methodology to measure and monitor quality and productivity of the department. * Working on projects as assigned by management. Qualifications * Bachelors degree with two or more years of reinsurance administration experience. * Ability to understand and process complex reinsurance transactions. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent organization, analytical, research, and problem solving skills. * Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities. * Ability to define and solve complex problems. * Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and macro, Access, and Word. * Prefer some experience in TSO and a mainframe environment, but could provide training for the right person. Position involves the extensive analysis of large mainframe databases, business processes and software configuration as well as the ability to write macros. Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule The AEGON companys pay ranges are competitive, as they are driven by the external employment market. An annual bonus opportunity is available to regular employees. Pay Range $43,000 min $57,000 mid $72,000 max There is a bonus opportunity available with this position.
