Position Summary: DIRECT MARKETING ANALYSIS MANAGER ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the worlds largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $2 billion, is seeking a Direct Marketing Analysis Manager. POSITION SUMMARY The Manager of Direct Marketing Analysis will play a critical role in the success of the direct to consumer marketing team by providing insight and analysis into opportunities for improved demand and advertising efficiency across all channels of the business. This individual will understand the multi-channel (web, mail, phone) dynamic of todays marketplace, present promotion-level results, evaluate campaign success and shape future promotional decisions. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES * Develop and release weekly key metrics reports tracking critical elements of the business. * Conduct thoughtful analysis of all campaigns, projecting results to a profitability perspective and identifying implications of the results. * Work with marketing team to create thoughtful budget/forecast assumptions and with financial team to accurately carry this data over to official budget/forecast submissions. * Deeply analyze online marketing results, including evaluation of search campaigns, affiliate programs and website trends. * Actively participate in promotion planning process, helping to accurately predict response and back end performance data as well as recommending segmentation methods. * Create historical analysis, allowing for accurate forecasting of future campaigns and construction of pro-forma P&L scenarios. * Support the Acquisition Manager and Retention Manager with any analysis required to meet new customer and renewal rate targets. * Build accurate demand forecasts for direct marketing campaigns, sharing this data with appropriate sourcing and manufacturing contacts in order to maintain appropriate inventory levels. * Serve as the lead marketing voice for the company-wide data warehouse, ensuring the resulting reports are both accurate and actionable. * Oversee the marketing database, ensuring data accuracy, incorporating effective analytical techniques, recommending additional data elements and suggesting segmentation strategies. * Monitor all marketing expenses to ensure proper recognition within monthly financials. * Assume full P&L responsibility for list and insert program. Position Qualifications: Position Qualifications * 5 + years analysis experience is required, preferably in multi-channel marketing environment. * Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred. * A web analytics background is preferred. * Expertise in Excel and other tools to facilitate effective campaign analysis is required. * Knowledge of SQL required and other statistical packages (SAS) beneficial. * Background in Google Analytics for web and search analysis. * Report development from data warehouses. * Ability to examine data, identify patterns and interpret results. * Strong capacity to track source of data and verify accuracy. * Affinity for and understanding of direct marketing techniques. * Local Candidates are required.
