* Assists the Registered Professional Nurse by helping to prepare and maintain a sterile environment using the surgical standards, policies, and procedures. for the purpose of assisting the physician with the surgical procedure. Requirements: Certified or certification eligible through the Liaison Council for Certified Surgical Technologists (LCC-ST). If hired prior to receiving certification, the employee must pass and take the certification exam during the first year of employment.
