Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment of The Walt Disney Company that extends the Disney brand to merchandise ranging from apparel, toys, home decor and books to interactive games, food and beverages, stationery, electronics and animation art. Disney Publishing is looking for an energetic and self-motivated Director, Digital Marketing to drive the creation and execution of marketing strategy for a new web-based product, Disney Digital Books. This key business development position will be an integral part of the marketing and sales effort, and have responsibility for subscriber acquisition for a new product that focuses on extending a childs love of books to a new online reading experience. Manage online marketing programs to drive growth in subscription orders for DisneyDigitalBooks.com. Provide leadership in identifying opportunities to grow existing channels and expand into new channels to drive growth. Serve as the business leader to drive increased retention and up-selling in all touch points with the consumer. ? Development of overall Marketing Strategy for Disney Digital Books ? Develop and execute on-line Marketing Plans ? Strategize across TWDC to execute Digital Books Marketing Plans (Parks/Resorts, Cruise Line, Disney Channel, Studio) ? Interacting and building awareness around Digital Books with Senior Leaders within TWDC ? Global communication on marketing updates, files and materials ? Develop creative briefs and manage internal agency for key creative assets including emails, banner ads, landing pages, etc. ? Manage key vendor relationships with vendors such as paid search agency, email service provider, affiliate partners, shopping comparison engines, and online media companies ? Manage budget, coordinate contracts and insertion orders, accruals, etc. ? Identify opportunities to develop new channels and/or expand existing channels for customer acquisition ? Coordinate with consumer marketing group for support on creative messaging, campaigns, social media, and public relations ? Manage web analytics team to support campaign analysis and optimization, especially for paid search and customer list analytics/segmentation ? Develop and execute online marketing campaigns ? Drive unique visitor acquisition through paid and organic search ? Maintain consumer satisfaction levels through consumer segmentation research and development ? Develop research based online and offline strategy to drive customer acquisition while maximizing return on investment ? Establish and execute promotional strategies to optimize each tactic ? Manage the following online marketing tactics: ? Customer acquisition: - Paid Search - Affiliates - Online display media (primarily CPA programs) - Shopping comparison ?
