Ambulatory EMR Analyst

? Collect departmental / clinical end-user requirements. ? Define and document clinical end-user requirements. ? Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to users of the EMR system. ? Troubleshoot functional problems for the EMR system. ? Perform interface testing for go lives and upgrades. ? Perform functional testing for go lives and upgrades. ? Research, identify and implement solutions to special NSLIJ requests or requirements (e.g., special reports, file extracts). ? Maintain the configuration of the EMR system, including settings and configuration tables. ? Research requested changes to ensure feasibility (e.g., confers with experts). ? Analyze report requirements. ? Coordinate report development activities. ? Communicate with users of the of the EMR system at all levels. ? Develop FAQ documents. ? Document frequently encountered problems. ? Provide input to trainers on frequently encountered problems.

Specific experience / skills required: ? Proficiency with features and capabilities of the Allscripts Enterprise EMR product. ? Strong analytical skills ? Independent problem solving skills ? Understanding of interface transactions ? Strong communication and people skills
