? Project(s)/Tasks: ? Work with Net Ops. Coordinator to create work orders for QC Vendor Masters: ? "Finalize" VOD/HV/Sales in PRISM Database; • Organizing and putting into storage all boxes of archival material, old b-roll reels, and assorted loose tapes that occupy valuable real estate on the floor; ? Screening and capturing data into library system for all "NG Today" program tapes in various locations; ? Work with Librarian to coordinate pick up/drop off of masters; ? Sort through boxes of returned (failed) air master tapes from LA; ? Clean up legacy data for all networks in our existing vault library system, MediaFlex: ? Assisting to incorporate all networks the physical video tape library from legacy systems to MediaFlex: ? Find tapes with discrepancies noted on the Cable EIC evaluation sheet and work with Net Ops. Coordinator and Supervisor of Media Service to evaluate; ? Update Outgoing QC event in PRISM to maintain accurate historical data. ? Fulfilling tape library and sales/distribution requests for internal and external clients; and ? Keeping NGCs channel media library up to date such as bar-coding new tapes, re-shelving old tapes, sending tapes off-site, etc. ? Learning Objectives: To learn the day-to-day work flow and operational systems that Network/Business Operations handles within an entertainment/cable company ? Qualifications: (preferred courses of study, computer proficiency, skills etc.) Journalism, Broadcasting, Library/Records Management, Communications, Liberal Arts, Media, or Production majors. Strong interest in the post-production process of television. Ability to multitask and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor and computer proficiency.
