With 16,000 professionals worldwide, the company has the customer knowledge, domain expertise and proven performance to manage large-scale, mission-critical IT programs. --Attend and host scientific research meetings and portfolio reviews. --Pre-meeting preparation--e.g., format, print, copy, binder documents, inventory and order supplies, prepare name badges, name cards, etc. --Meeting support for 70-100 attendees, e.g. registration, update and distribute Contact Lists, record meeting, customer service, etc. --Able to take dictation and/or meticulous notes during scientific research reviews, capturing all relevant discussions, presentations, and comments. --Post-meeting preparation of final report, e.g., format, print, copy all revised presentations and documents, transcribe and edit summaries of the open and closed sessions, type and edit project evaluations, etc. --Transcribes and summarizes dictation notes into a comprehensive, professional summary of the meeting. Able to meet timely turn-around requirements, ensuring proper grammatical guidelines are met. --Editorially reviews scientific research studies and technical documents to ensure that proper grammar, punctuation, spelling and syntax (to include sentence structure, language rules, grammar) are used, and that prepared (final) documents are formatted properly giving a professional appearance. --Assists with other professional meetings as assigned; able to meet customer requirements and expectations. --Willing to work additional hours as required. --Some travel required to provide meeting support when not conducted locally. May also be required to attend professional scientific conferences occasionally. Educational background in medical transcription, medical sciences or related field. Requires 2-5 yrs transcription experience. Typing min. 60 wpm. Able to operate office machines: laptop, printer, recorder,fax, etc). Editing experience. Proficient in writing and the correct use of grammar. Strong knowledgeable of medical terminology, especially related to research. Mature, able to work independently, dependable and conscientious. --Knowledgable and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet research tools; --Conscientious, attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team player.
