To support our growth we seek Research Assistants to work in our Energy, Climate & Transportation practice (ECT), specifically within our Climate & Energy Policy team. Research Assistants will contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. Research Assistants at ICF International have an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, interact with experts and clients in the field, while building content knowledge and consulting skills. Research Assistants advance in our consulting practice or go on to outstanding graduate programs around the country. The Climate & Energy Policy team is at the forefront of preparing leading-edge climate change technical and policy analyses, identifying viable market solutions, and building real-world management tools. Responsibilities: * Assisting with data collection and analysis for climate change and sustainability-related projects (ie. GHG emissions reductions strategies, adaptation options) * Assisting with climate outreach projects, preparing presentations * Researching energy and climate change legislation and policy * Reviewing literature, conducting interviews and surveys * Solving quantitative and qualitative problems * Interacting with federal and commercial clients Requires: * Bachelors Degree in Environmental or other Earth Sciences, Economics, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Public Policy or related subjects with a minimum GPA of 3.0 * Strong quantitative and/or modeling skills a plus * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Ability to prioritize and multi-task, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment ICF International offers an excellent benefits package, an award winning talent development program, and fosters a highly skilled, energized and empowered workforce.
