The Customer Insights group is part of a larger Customer and Market Insights (CMI) team. The CMI team will: -Provide customer, brand, and market research in support of strategy formulation and tactical decision making for Victorias Secret (VS) -Enable the VS organization to embody the customer, be marketplace savvy, and ensure the deliverance of brand right experiences to our various customer segments -Provide research support to many stakeholders across the organization (primary internal clients will be Marketing, Merchandising, and Business Strategy; secondary clients will be Design, Product Commercialization, and Stores) -Immerse itself in the business, providing thought partnership to key stakeholders (team members will have deep expertise in customer segments (i.e. Young Collegiate) or business categories (i.e. Intimates, PINK, Beauty) -Facilitate in-depth customer lifestyle tracking and creative information sharing, enabling the team to know their customers "like a best friend" The Customer Insights team is responsible for bringing customer segments to life and generating insights as a strategic input to brand strategy formulation and white space identification. Specific activities include: -Staying abreast of macro and micro consumer trends -Developing an understanding of generational trends for college students, young independents, and young married women -Reading secondary consumer research -Conducting strategic projects requested by the business -Deep diving into the mindset of a specific customer demographic to understand her lifestyle, shopping behaviors, and spending habits -Identifying white space opportunities around unmet needs of our customers -Developing programs to regularly interact with customers -Managing monthly customer panels for each customer lifestage -Managing online customer forums -Managing lifestyle immersion programs (e.g., Campus Immersions) For all projects, the Sr. Analysts responsibilities include: -Project planning -Data collection -Data analysis -Development of key insights -Creation of PowerPoint presentations Qualification -Bachelors Degree required -2-4 years of management consulting experience required -Retail and/or consumer goods experience in fashion, apparel, lingerie, or personal care preferred but not required -Strong quantitative skills -Strong analytical skills -Strong communication and presentation skills -Strong strategic thinking skills -Strong PowerPoint skills -Strong skills in structuring/storyboarding a presentation and designing powerful slides ------------ Please refer to job code 25139 when responding to this ad.
