Research Manager 

As an integral member of the research team at 2 Regional Sites and in compliance with all regulatory, institutional and departmental requirements, manages the functions and activities of assigned services within the division's clinical research organization. Responsibilities include: implements standards for research protocol management, policies and procedures to meet those standards to ensure the highest quality management of clinical research studies; oversees data management aspects of research databases such as the Clinical Research Database (CRDB), department specific patient databases, and the Disease Management System (DMS); and is responsible for financial activities associated with protocols/research projects. Qualifications include: a Bachelor's or higher degree with 3-5 years of experience in a clinical research, or High School Diploma with 4-7 years clinical research experience; supervisory management required; the ability to use specialized knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the field of clinical research data management to assume managerial responsibility within a clinical research unit of the organization; proficiency in use of computers and software applications is necessary; and excellent analytical, information management, administrative and communication skills are required.
