Description  TASKS/SERVICES. The contractor shall: ·    Answer telephones, directing calls to appropriate staff or taking messages as appropriate ·    Schedule all Ambulatory Procedure Visit (APV) for cardiology service ·    Enter patient demographics in monitoring system in a Cardiac Cath lab ·    Maintain Device registry for all implantable devices ·    Maintain high cost items registry ·    Maintain the Cardiac Cath Lab patient log ·    Maintains weekly UCAPERS ·    Completes Automated Data System(ADS) daily for APV visits ·    Completes inpatients consults to include booking and ADS ·    Maintains monitoring system back-up tape ·    Coordinated with the maintenance of College of American Pathologist (CAP) records ·    Collaborate in the Cardiology Clinic when needed ·    Coordinate with supply inventory lists ·    Page consultants upon requests and as needed ·    Print department schedules and consults for patient protocol ·    Verify patient eligibility for care and file documentation ·    Obtain outpatient medical records file and retrieve patient related documents and databases ·    Prepare end of the day (EOD) reports ·    Type memos and draft letters upon request CERTIFICATIONS, LICSENSE, PHUYSICAL REQUIREMENTS or OTHER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. The contractor must have: ·    Ability to use microcomputers, moderately skilled in Microsoft Word, and Excel. ·    Ability to maintain patient confidentiality ·    Knowledge of or training in CHCS, ADS and AHLTA ·    Ability to provide communications via automated means (current e-mail system(s), Microsoft Outlook, and CHCS) ·    Excellent customer service skills highly recommended ·    Exceptional interpersonal communications skills as well as ability to display great tact and diplomacy both in person and on the telephone ·    Knowledge of military rank structure preferred but not required ·    Attention to detail Hourly rate: $19.95 per hour
