Senior Copywriter Company: Ignite Health Location: US-NY-New York Category: Creative - Copy Position Type: Full Time Amount of Travel: Less than 25% Relocation Eligible: Yes More information about this job: Overview: Ignite Health, an inVentiv health company, is a nationally recognized, award-winning healthcare advertising/marketing agency based in Irvine (CA) with an immediate opening for a senior copywriter in our NYC office. Description of Duties: We’re looking for a highly intelligent, meticulously organized, energetic senior copywriter who thrives in a fast paced and challenging team environment. Responsibilities include developing complex websites and print communications for large pharmaceutical and/or medical device clients; advanced strategic thinking and brainstorming with other writers, art directors and account team members; leading content development through client presentation; and writing clearly and concisely on a range of complex clinical subjects including oncology, diabetes and HIV/AIDS. Minimum Requirements: Qualifications: - 4 or more years of experience as a copywriter in a pharmaceutical or related field – healthcare ad agency experience is a plus - Demonstrated predisposition for healthcare/healthscience, biology or related scientific field as evidenced by work experience or academic background - Superior record of academic achievement and/or honors in the sciences throughout high school and college - Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Biology or equivalent - Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, website development and e-marketing/advertising concepts - Superior writing skills, as well as strong copy editing, proofreading and research skills - Ability to take complex medical/scientific topics and communicate them in a clear and concise manner to both physicians and patients - Ability to effectively integrate approved client materials into complex documents, and to generate new content based on original research of complex journal articles - Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational ability - A multi-tasker and list maker who enjoys working at a fast pace with multiple deadlines - Capable of leading content development from strategic ideation and clinical research through client presentation and complex regulatory submission Apply for this job: Please fill out an online form: * Apply for this jobonline/li * Do you know somebody whom you feel would be interested in joining our team?
