Job Code: 6932 Facility: The George Washington University Hospital Location: WASHINGTON, DC US Travel Involved: None Job Type: Per Diem Job Level:  Minimum Education Required: Associate Degree  Skills:  Category: Nursing FTE: .01 Position Summary: Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training and regulatory requirements. Responds effectively to new and changing work assignments. Must be able to perform a variety of skills to take care of patients with medical emergencies ranging from acutely ill patients to Level I trauma including: invasive hemodynamic monitoring; cardiac rhythm interpretation; mechanical respiratory support devices; patients receiving conscious sedation; pain management; care of pediatric patients.  Requirements Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Minimum of 2 years of ED experience Current RN licensure in the District of Columbia (or licensed eligible) Current CPR Certification Current ACLS Certification Current TNCC Certification and PALS within 6 months of hire.
