Obstetrics RN

? Assess all out-patients and in-patients on admission. ? Utilize collected data to plan for nursing care. ? Provide patient care to meet physical and psychological needs. ? Evaluate the patients response to nursing interventions. ? Provide reassessment of the patient in a systematic and continuous process which evaluates the patients response to care. ? Evaluate the patients and familys level of understanding and provide teaching and discharge planning to meet their needs. ? Support the rights of each patient. ? Demonstrate organizational ability, leadership and effective interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors and co-workers. ? Maintain optimal Nursing Practice through planned, continuous professional growth and development  Minimum Requirements: Current RN Maryland State Licensure or compact license. BSN and inpatient OB certification preferred.Previous Med/Surg and obstetrical nursing (L&D, M/B) experience required. BLS/CPR required. Pediatric experince preferred.
