Description: - Retail Food Services Manager - Lanham, MD (53248) Job Description Retail Food Services Manager - Lanham, MD-53248 Description As a Retail Foodservice Manager you will plan, direct and coordinate all front of the house food service activities in order to deliver a finished product to customers within Doctors Community Hospital, a 195 bed acute care facility located in Lanham, MD (right outside of Washington D.C.). You will be responsible for the marketing, merchandising, cash handling, and implementing of new programs and specials while driving sales volume. You will also be responsible for management and coordination of catering events. You will directly supervise approximately 10 or more employees with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increases. If you have an eye for detail, this is the position for you. Qualifications Ideal candidates will possess a bachelors degree (and/or requisite industry & management experience) and 2+ years of foodservice supervisory experience. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role. Healthcare experience is a plus but hospitality experience is desired. .Experience with marketing and merchandising food is required.
