Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily functions, including: commitment to integrity, knowledge/quality of work, supporting financial goals of the company, initiative/motivation, cooperation/relationships, problem analysis/discretion, accomplishing goals through organization, positive oral/written communication skills, leadership abilities, commitment to Affirmative Action, reliability/dependability, flexibility and ownership/accountability of actions taken. Tests, implements, and proposes new and bleeding edge technologies for the customer and corporate clients. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of IP based systems, recent experience with planning, configuring, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise architectures, including routing, switching, DNS, and network security, recent knowledge of enterprise architecture technologies such as HSRP, DMVPN, VPN, DHCP, SNMP, VTP, STP, understanding of enterprise network security technologies such as encryption, VPN, firewalls, access control, and remote access. Provides product testing, product integration, and has the ability to provide requirements and translate requirements from the customer to the development team. Proficient in non standard operating systems as well as Win32 based systems, RF technologies infrastructure implementations, and in the use of packet sniffers, TCP/IP scanners and the ability to decode traffic effectively. Test and report on new technologies and report security concerns. Understands TCP/IP, network protocols, firewall theory, and packet analysis, principles and techniques applied in securing operating systems and LAN/WAN networks, standard and non standard port use and overt channel connectivity. Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company. Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisors instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output. Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.
