Responsibilities Provide financial management support to the PEO IWS 8.0 BFM and staff. Update and manage appropriations (O&M,N; RDT&E, SCN, OPN) using PRISMS. Generate control reports and issues for fiscal years using PBIS. Download Presidential, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Department of Navy (DON) budgets/exhibits using (NHS/BOCS). Prepare monthly obligation/expenditure reports using STARS through COBRA and Excel spreadsheets. Develop briefings and metrics as required. Establishes highly complex program plans and conducts in-depth research to define program requirements. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in DOD Budget and Financial Management (NAVSEA Budget and Execution support experience preferred). Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in the use of DoN financial management tools (PRISMS, AutoDoc, STARS, NHS, and COBRA) and Microsoft Office Applications.  Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 8 to 10 years of directly related experience in technical program planning, administration, budgets, and development. Master's degree preferred. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 15 years applicable work. A Secret DoD security clearance or a Secret DHS security clearance is required.
