Title: IB - Human Resources - Lateral Recruiting Coordinator - New York Location: NY-New York J.P. Morgan Investment Bank Lateral Recruiting Coordinator IB Lateral Recruiting IB North America Lateral Recruiting is responsible for sourcing talent for Front Office and Support roles within the Investment Bank. These roles range from Administrative Assistant-level positions through senior Managing Directors in the Sales, Trading and Research areas, Investment Banking, Technology, Operations, Finance & Business Management, Risk and Marketing. NA Lateral Recruiting is part of the broader Global Recruiting team, and partners with similar Recruiting groups in EMEA and Asia. Recruiting Coordinator Role The Recruiting Coordinator role sits within the NA Recruiting Infrastructure Group, which provides shared resources across NA Front Office and Support Recruiting to increase efficiency, promote best-practice sharing across Recruiting, and provide the highest level of service to our internal clients and candidates. The Recruiting Coordinator partners closely with the function's Recruiters and Recruiting managers, and is viewed as critical to the success of the overall Recruiting function. In addition to working with Recruiting colleagues, the Recruiting Coordinator will act as contact point with candidates and future hires. Ideally, the Recruiting Coordinator would have interest in becoming a Recruiter over time. Why Become a Recruiting Coordinator? The Recruiting Coordinator position is among the entry points to a career in Human Resources. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who are interested in the Recruiting process and could become future Front Office or Support recruiters. In order for you to gain a strong foundation in the fundamentals of lateral recruiting, we require a minimum of one year as a Recruiting Coordinator. This valuable experience will enable you to: .  Become familiar with top talent in the Investment Banking industry by helping recruit them to the firm .  Develop process improvements that will help us become more streamlined and efficient in our hiring practices .  Implement creative ideas and make a real impact on the entire Recruiting team .  Interact directly with candidates and at times, hiring managers .  Experience working in a business support function .  Have an opportunity to assess J.P. Morgan Recruiting and the overall HR community to determine if this is a potential long-term career destination Recruiting Coordinator Responsibilities .  Responsible for all NA Lateral Recruiting (Front Office and Support) interview, offer and onboarding administrative tasks .  Enter data and report off of JobConnect system o  Create job requisitions and postings o  Enter candidate information o  Run open and filled position reports o  Export information to Excel and create pivot tables .  Act as contact point for candidates and future-dated hires o  Coordinate onboarding process with future-dated hires o  Send all onboarding information to candidate including IB welcome letter o  Act as primary contact point for all hiring manager inquiries .  Create simple to complex offer letters .  Update Taleo Onboarding tool .  Handle candidate I-9 verification .  Submit invoices to Vendor Management Specialist for processing .  Superior JobConnect skills a plus o  Data entry o  Reporting o  Exporting to Excel .  Strong Excel skills o  Create spreadsheets o  Use basic formulas o  Create pivot tables .  Strong Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills .  Strong written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills .  Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task .  Team player with positive attitude .  Sense of urgency and proactivity .  Ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressured environment .  Desire to work and provide support in Investment Banking
