Marchex Adhere delivers targeted national and local traffic to advertisers of all sizes. Marchexs Advertising Services helps online retailers and large national advertisers maximize their products presence in major search and shopping engines. About the ROLE As a Strategic Account Executive you will be responsible for acquiring, growing and retaining relationships with advertisers and advertising agencies. Prospect, qualify and close sales with a large number of advertisers to drive revenue for the Marchex Adhere network. Gain new business through inbound sales leads, phone and e-mail sales efforts. Limited travel required.  YOUR Experience: * 5 to 6 years experience in sales role. Online advertising sales experience and media sales experience preferred, but not required. * Demonstrated success in goal oriented, highly accountable sales environment. * Superior communication skills, including presentations, phone and e-mail. * Experience with a large account base, particularly working with both new and ongoing accounts for long-term relationships. * Ability to work as part of a team.
