* We have a unique opportunity for an experienced sales professional as an Account Executive here at CSC Consulting. This senior level Sales Executive identifies, pursues and owns critical relationships with key Financial Vertical clients within the New York area Insurance and Capital Markets (Merrill Lynch, Prudential, Met Life, Lehman Bros, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, etc?). The Account Executive drives new business opportunities by developing and leveraging both new and existing relationships. The right person will be able to provide value to the client, while creating and driving new revenue opportunities for CSC. He/she will be responsible for selling consulting solutions within either a geographic region or vertical marketplace. Critical Success Factors: This position: * Demands a disciplined account penetration strategy that delivers and strengthens relationships with executive decision makers in the specific geographic region being covered. * Demands an extremely well-networked solution sales professional. * Demands an industry expert capable of orchestrating a team of industry, functional, and technical experts to craft a compelling value proposition for executive clients. * Demands the expertise of a sales professional to drive complex, long sale cycles from negotiations through the close of deals that add value and are profitable. * Demands a proactive business leader that creatively works with vendors, clients and resources at CSC to find new solutions that create repeatable value and revenue stream! Knowledge and Skills Required: * A minimum of 8 -10 years of previous experience selling Information Technology Integration, Outsourcing, Business Transformation, and/or Management Consulting Services. * A proven track record of sales success at the Senior Executive level within Insurance and Capital Markets Firms in the New York area (Merrill Lynch, Prudential, Met Life, Lehman Bros, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, etc?). * Action-oriented, results-oriented, "take charge" attitude, with the capability of developing a strong business case for client action and the skills to bring those actions to a close. * Track record of driving new client sales over $8 million and revenues in excess of $6 - 8 million annually. * Experience closing multiple 7 - figure + deals. * Strong executive presence and professional image. * A team player who can demonstrate prior success within a highly collaborative, team-oriented process. * Experience leading the development of new business opportunities, as well as a history of managing team resources in order to grow the business. Qualifications Basic Qualifications * Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * Bachelors degree in business administration or related field preferred * Seven or more years of business development or sales experience * Experience working with the technology industry * Experience working with company products, services, competencies, solutions, and offerings * Experience working with standard company sales methodology and supporting tools and applications * Experience working with finance and accounting Other Qualifications * Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients up to the Board level * Strong sales skills * Strong communication skills to listen to the client and articulate back for solutioning * Good networking skills to create and maintain formal and informal communication networks * Ability to work in a team environment * Willingness to travel Please refer to job code 484116 when responding to this ad.
