National Marketing Manager, Center for Health Solutions

Deloitte is currently searching for a National Marketing Manager for the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions ("the Center"), part of Deloitte LLP.  This individual will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies and programs that build eminence for the Center, its Executive Director, and Senior Advisors, and complement the broader marketing and business development objectives for Deloittes US Health Sciences & Government practice.  The National Marketing Manager will work directly with the Centers Executive Director and his management team and report to the National Marketing Director for Deloittes Health Sciences & Government Practice.  This position will be based in Washington, DC .

Responsibilities include the following:

* Strategize with the Center Executive Director, management team and Executive Committee, as well as practice leaders and marketing team members from Health Sciences & Government, to understand market drivers and issues and build and execute marketing programs that address select platforms and showcase Deloittes insight and broad service capabilities.

* Ensure the marketing plan supports eminence for the Center, its Executive Director, and Senior Advisors and the eminence and business growth goals for the broader Health Sciences & Government practice.

* Oversee strategic design and tactical execution of Center marketing plan.  Engage appropriate Deloitte resources, (including management and research teams, subject matter experts, business development managers, client service professionals, and marketing personnel) to execute integrated marketing programs.  Ensure programs are implemented cost-effectively and implemented to achieve desired business goals.

* Provide direction and coordination in the design and execution of programs geared toward client education, relationship building and revenue growth including, but not limited to, client meetings, roundtables, and industry conferences.

* Manage strategic alliance relationships with key associations, influencers, media, think tanks, academics, etc.

* Help drive and coordinate e-marketing efforts, including a growing focus on social media and viral marketing strategies, with the Internet Marketing and Eminence Channel teams.

* Help drive and coordinate public relations efforts with National PR.

* Work with integrated marketing and business development teams to manage the Centers thought leadership launch and management processes to program accounts and the broader marketplace (including promotion, distribution, tracking, etc.).

* Develop and execute internal communications programs and materials to build awareness of the Centers resources, programs, results, etc. and increase the Centers role in key pursuits across the Health Sciences & Government practice and across the US firms.

* Track, monitor, and evaluate marketing and business development activities and accomplishments. Survey decision makers on effectiveness/quality of efforts and solicit feedback for future actions. Provide recommendations to Center and industry leadership.

* Implement and manage Center marketing budget.  Coordinate with and leverage relevant marketing programs/methods within Health Sciences & Government to help ensure consistency and cost effectiveness.

* Interface frequently and effectively with partners/principals/directors, subject matter experts and other staff, including Center Executive Director and Executive Committee, Industry and Sector Leaders, Service Line Leaders, and Marketing and Business Development professionals at national and regional levels.

* Undergraduate degree required, preferably in marketing, communications or related field; Masters degree a plus * Eight to 10 years of prior, relevant experience, with a focus in: marketing strategies, relationship strategies, events strategies and programs * Deep knowledge of/experience in one or more sectors of the Health Sciences & Government industry strongly preferred, including relationships with industry associations, media, and other influencers * Experience in a large professional services, consulting firm or other large matrix company strongly preferred * Proven ability to drive entire marketing programs, from conception to execution * Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously with demonstrable experience in consistently delivering high quality results * Superior business writing skills, with demonstrated ability to create and/or edit marketing collateral, press releases, web content, internal communications materials, client success stories, and thought leadership support tools * Excellent oral communications skills * Professional client service manner * Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts * Demonstrated ability to manage and work well within a team, both in person and in a virtual mode, and ability to interact with/influence all levels of management * Project management experience * Sound knowledge of marketing fundamentals * Negotiation and presentation skills required * Flexibility and adaptability required
