1. Assess patients? state and extent of chemical use. 2. Develop and implement a plan of treatment. 3. Conduct didactic and other appropriate patient groups. 4. Communicate with referral sources and other appropriate parties regarding patients? progress. 5. Coordinate patients? discharge planning and implementation. 6.
