Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Responsible for all phases of collection activity for consumer installment loans that are past due. * Communicate consistently with the banks customer base in delinquent status to discuss and resolve their accounts to the department/banks satisfaction. This is accomplished by phone and written communication when warranted. * Updating customer information to maintain viable points of contact with our customers as well as reviewing same to search for additional information to locate and reach them. * Additionally, responsible to review and recommend assignment for repossession of the collateral if applicable, to reduce the banks overall potential losses and to serve as another means of curing a delinquent account. Required Skills * Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows. * Strong analytical skills required. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Required Experience * Minimum six months related experience. * Customer service and banking background a plus. * Prior consumer collections experience preferred.
