Job Listing [ My Profile ] [ View Job Cart ] [ Back to Results Page ] Vice President of Institutional Marketing Job Number: nest-00011846 Nestle Nutrition Marketing Florham Park NJ POSITION SUMMARY: This position drives HCN Institutional marketing strategy for North America and marketing execution for the US. As the largest region in HCN, North America plays a significant role in the HCN global platform strategy development and I and R process. This position, or members of their team, participates on all core global platform teams. The VP Institutional Marketing is also a member of the North America HCN Leadership Team (HLT), which is responsible for the management of the HCN business. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Key participant in the HCN NAM Market Business Strategy (MBS) 3 year plan. * Lead the annual Integrated Commercial Planning Process (ICP) for the US HCN Institutional business (NPS = $430 million). * Member of the HCN global marketing leadership, along with the other regional marketing heads and under the leadership of the HCN Global Marketing Head. * Key participant (directly or through designates) on the HCN global platform teams. These teams create the Consumer Technical Models (CTMs) that drive platforms strategies and I and R pipelines. * As member of HLT, participate in cross functional decision making that guides the business. * Ensure appropriate hiring, development, training and coaching of team. * Following the CTMs and global platform strategies, establish branding and product growth strategies for HCN NAM (US and Canada). * Set pricing strategies to meet sales and profit goals. Monitor the execution pricing decisions by the Business Operations and Sales teams. * Create demand generation tools that deliver against platform strategies. * Ensure superior consumer/patient and HCP understanding and targeting are applied to the HCN Institutional business and brands. * Partner closely with HCN Sales team. In particular, recognize that HCN is a Sales driven business and that most marketing tactics are driven through the HCN Institutional Sales team. Provide all selling tools required by sales team. * Assist head of sales in developing sales deployment strategy. * Manage the Professional Services team that provides technical support to the Sales team. * In coordination with global Medical Affairs and local Medical Scientific Unit (MSU), establish and manage KOL advisory boards on core platforms. * Drive excellence in execution of plans and regular tracking/ monitoring of results and actions. * Monitor spending activities (PFME) and departmental budgets to ensure achievement of profit targets. * Develop additional future growth strategies: including channel development, new influencer models, new claims strategies (supported by clinical strategies), creation of new payer strategies. REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL * BA in Business or MBA * 10-15 years in healthcare or CPG marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in healthcare. SKILLS In depth knowledge of US healthcare industry including: HCP influencing models; reimbursement structures; healthcare distribution system; healthcare pricing and tender process; traditional marketing and branding skills; new product innovation experience.
