Deloittes dynamic Federal Practice based in Washington D.C. and Metropolitan area has opportunities for you to become part of their outstanding team that delivers innovative solutions to key Federal clients in auditing and accounting, financial management, business process improvement, strategy and operations, information systems development, package implementation, enterprise transformation, business process and applications outsourcing, and a full range of human capital advisory services.

Job Responsibilities:

As we continue to grow the Federal practice, we are looking to identify an experienced recruiter.  Responsibilities include:

* Experience and market knowledge in the Federal market place with focus on Federal practice competitors. * Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment required * Ability to develop and implement successful experienced hire recruiting programs with excellent strategic and creative thinking, project management and analytic skills * Experience with key sources for candidates - must have a well developed "network" to source from * Knowledge of key recruiting craft skills, including various sourcing, candidate selection, selling and negotiating techniques, as well as candidate management systems (currently Taleo) * Ability to lead and operate efficiently and effectively within a matrix, geographically dispersed organization * Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to develop and maintain a variety of relationships * Ability to interview and assess appropriate potential hires * Strong knowledge of consulting industry and technology trends, compensation and benefits * Knowledge to prove and assess appropriate skill sets of various practice areas * Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously - and, be willing to support recruiting initiatives (new systems, improving processes etc.) * Knowledge of our competitors at the base level - and knowledge of the market indicators which affect experienced hiring. * Perceptual objectivity and ability to assess situations and employ the proper strategy. * Ability to effectively work through other people and be collaborative, cross-functional and diplomatic. * Ability to adapt to a changing environment and conditions and be able to look at new approaches to old problems. * Ability to interact and interface with all levels within the firm especially Partner leadership and management * Negotiating skills

•        3 - 5 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting for a large organization, preferably a professional services organization

•        2+ years of technical and/or military officer recruiting preferred

•        Excellent organizational skills

•        Bachelors degree required

•        Outstanding client service focus

•        Strong written and verbal communication skills

•        Technical proficiency in MS Office, including Work, Excel and Power Point. Experience with Outlook a plus.

•        A desire to work in a fast-paced, high caliber and dynamic culture
