Strategy & Operations Deloitte Consultings Strategy & Operations Service Area works with senior management to help make major decisions and implement improvements that dramatically increase the performance of our clients business by focusing on executable strategy and by integrating industry and functional knowledge in corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions, customer relationships, technology, financial management, supply chain, and operations. Deloitte supports GPD in the Resource Management and Business Administration office in its financial management of the budget. Specifically, in processing and tracking travel authorizations and vouchers, training requests, invoices, and other funding and payment documentation. Deloitte also supports GPD through budgetary and financial reporting, and account reconciliation of the travel and training budget. The responsibilities of these positions include: * Reviewtravel authorizations for completeness and obligating funds in the FEMA financial system (IFMIS) * Reconcile travel vouchers in IFMIS and routing travel package for payment * Review training requests for completeness and committing funds * Reconcile training invoices * Research training and travel non-payments * Prepare weekly and monthly budget status reports * Track travel and training in an Excel spreadsheet and reconcile with IFMIS * Coordinate regularly with the Budget Office and Division points of contacts * Skills needed: * Strong communciation skills and positive attitude * Diligent and organized tracking skills * Proficient in Excel * Attention to detail * Bachelors degree * Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance * Desired skills: * Basic understanding of the federal budget process * Experience with financial reporting systems About Deloitte As used in this document, Deloitte? means Deloitte LLP and its subsidiaries.
