For more information about Fannie Mae and our career opportunities, please visit www.fanniemae.com KEY JOB FUNCTIONS The Business Manager is a key member of single-family servicing policies, standards, and practices; development, interpretation, and communication. The Manager will also assist in leading the execution of policies and procedures affecting industry-wide servicing. More specifically, s/he; * Supports servicing credit risk -related policy and standards development and implementation * Provide support for coordinating internal and external communications related to servicing policy issues, including Single-Family Selling and Servicing Guide, Announcements, Lender Letters and associated guidance * Assist in monitoring and analyzing credit and servicing trends as they impact Fannie Mae, our customers, and other stakeholders * Communicates and coordinates with other businesses and departments, such as Legal, and Government and Industry Relations, to develop responses to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders * Assist in conducting research and analysis on various risk issues and develops solutions which balance the accomplishment of our corporate objectives against meeting the needs of customers * Develops and manages relationships with a broad network of internal and external customers to seek feedback, manage expectations, and build consensus on issues * Consult with internal and external staff to identify their requirements and translate them into solutions that satisfy the technical or business need * Assist in providing guidance on various Selling and Servicing Guide questions and interprets policies * Manages projects. Qualifications EDUCATION * Bachelor Degree or Equivalent MINIMUM EXPERIENCE * 5 years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS * Proven experience in Servicing/Credit Risk Mortgage Industry * leads/supports Servicing credit risk -related policy and standards development and implementation. * Communicates and coordinates with other businesses and departments to develop responses to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. * Conducts research and analysis on various servicing issues and develops solutions. * Serves as the subject matter expert and thought leader within the company for an array of assigned single-family servicing policies, standards, and practices.
