Members of the team will partner with the business divisions, technology and operations to manage, drive and support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives across all value streams. The focus will be on end-to-end improvement, analysis, measurement, and cultural change. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to a wide variety of enterprise process, data, and application problems. Apply the SDLC process to convert business needs into a software solution that integrates into a business process, providing the specified process output. Assess business operations and processes of assigned office or business unit to identify inefficiencies in procedures, information flows and handoffs, decisions, and data pathways, as well as ways in which processes and systems supporting these can be enhanced. Lead and drive meetings and projects with client staff, project managers, and developers to automate, upgrade, or expand processes, data or applications that accomplish business operations of assigned work unit(s). Create and design specifications including descriptive text, process flows, and other information needed to describe required changes to processes, data, or applications. Work closely with senior executives to communicate issues and solutions using a variety of approaches and media. Qualifications EDUCATION Required Preferred Level Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Experience Master or Other Advanced Degree Area of Study Finance/Accounting, Business, Computer Science Computer Science, Business Certifications MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 8 years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS * Prior understanding of Object-Oriented Requirements Analysis and Design; Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to a wide variety of enterprise process, data, and application problems * Apply the SDLC process to convert business needs into a software solution integrating into a business process, and help assigned work units accomplish business operations; Experience with business process reengineering * Create and design specifications for required changes to processes, data, or applications * Identify inefficiencies and enhancements for procedures, information flows and handoff, decisions, and data pathways EMPLOYMENT As a condition of employment with Fannie Mae, any successful job applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and to successfully complete a background investigation, which may also include a credit check for positions in some areas of our business.
