For more information about Fannie Mae and our career opportunities, please visit www.fanniemae.com JOB INFORMATION This position will work on Fannie Maes implementation of the Making Home Affordable initiative which is part of the Housing Affordability and Stability Plan. Per U.S. Treasury guidelines, United States Citizenship or permanent residency status along with authorization and compliance with a non-disclosure agreement is required. The analyst will be part of the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) Net Present Value Model (NPV) Team. The team is responsible for developing, maintaining, executing and interpreting the NPV model. The analyst will be responsible for performing analysis on data that are received from the NPV model submissions and handling ad-hoc requests and questions about the NPV model from internal and external customers. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS * Perform data analysis on loan data received through the NPV model submissions. * Monitor the input and output data from IR2 to determine whether the model is working as expected; determine if code change or user guide change is necessary. * Perform User Acceptance Testing before each release of the NPV model. * Resolve NPV model production issues with Technology and Communications. * Coordinate, compile and update quarterly supplemental data tables for the NPV model. * Field NPV model related questions from internal and external parties. Qualifications EDUCATION * Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Preferred MINIMUM EXPERIENCE * 0-2 years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS * A solid set of SAS and SQL programming skills is required; knowledge of relational database design a plus. * Must possess critical thinking and analytical skills. * Must possess a good knowledge of statistics. * Must be a highly motivated self-starter who can effectively contribute in a team environment. * Excellent abilities to set priorities, meet tight deadlines and deliver high quality results. * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
