Business Risk The Business Risk ("BR") service area is comprised of professionals that possess competency and experience in the areas of risk management, business and operational processes, internal auditing, financial reporting and other internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Business risk professionals use these skills to assess, analyze, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of governance, financial and operational control processes, offer recommendations to improve operations, and assist clients with enterprise risk and compliance activities. Deloittes Civilian Segment is currently searching for a Senior Federal Accounting/Audit Consultant Location: Washington, DC Position Description: - Candidate will serve on a two person travel team conducting open obligation reviews in support of A-123 testing requirements - Provide solutions, think ahead for the client and manager, interpret guidance and policies to provide workable solutions for the client in regards to Reimbursable Agreements. Responsible for deliverables such as trip reports, debriefs, quarterly obligation reviews, training presentations - Candidate will support each cycle of the project (customer interaction, technical delivery, status reporting, project close out) - Candidate will be expected to support business development activities such as follow-on proposal effort, client delivery that meets clients expectations, and providing input to / leading white paper and slide development - End client interaction includes daily contact with field personnel and executive management -Team meetings and business development meetings with MD and management team are opportunities to provide recommendations as well as day to day interaction with manager - Project Location: Washington, DC Position-specific Required Skills: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, finance or related field - 5 years of work experience (at least two years of experience with federal financial management) - 3 + years reviewing financial management activity - Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearance Position-specific Desired Skills: - CGFM or CPA desired - 2+ years experience in federal financial management and/or accounting - 3+ years prior consulting experience Logistics: Travel Required: 30% About Deloitte As used in this document, • Deloitte? means Deloitte LLP and its subsidiaries.
