Aerotek client is immediately hiring a Biomedical Technician in the Baltimore, MD. Candidate will be traveling 50% with in the United States, but based the other 50% in Baltimore. Candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: - For new customers, travel to the site and perform the installation, validation, testing, initial troubleshooting of the instruments equipment, and interaction with nurses, MLTs, MTs etc on use and maintenance of instrumentation and equipment -For existing customers, travel to the site and provide troubleshooting and services of instrument/equipment, including installation of any software updates, hardware updates, etc. -Maintain contact with field customer on satisfaction of service, tracking satisfaction after service, stay abreast of any updates on recurring issues, etc. - Work within product development to learn how the devices and instruments work, how the console works, how the therapy works, etc. The goal is that they will be involved in the R/D and product development ad know the device and instrumentation inside and out - Work with product development and R/D to perform validation and verifications of devices, both in-market and in development Candidate must have the following experience to be qualified for this position: 1. Ability to travel with, or without, reasonable accommodation 2. 3-5 years of experience as a medial technician focusing on equipment and instrumentation use, troubleshooting, upgrading and repair. 3. Willingness to work with variety of different departments including product development and R/D 4.
