Team Leader RN-Surgical Services Department: Operating Room Schedule: Regular Full-time (40 hours per week) Shift: Days / 8 hours Hours: 7am-3:30pm Job Details: - Associates Degree Required - American Heart Association - Health Care Provider BLS - Registered Nurse (RN) - 3-5 years experience is preferred Contributes to the provision of high quality, cost-effective patient care and collaboration with other health care team members, with emphasis on designated service lines. Promotes team and works with physicians through effective and consistent communication to improve efficiency and support cost containment. Serves as a resource to revenue capture coordinator and surgical services business manager. Oversees the organization and availability of resources necessary for procedures and utilization of appropriate supplies as it relates to specialties Degree in Nursing with current licensure as a registered nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing. At least one year of operating room experience required. BLS certified. AORN certification preferred or obtained within one year of hire. Will consider surgical technologist with minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant clinical experience. Prefer strong experience in GYN and plastic service lines.
