In our Financial Advisory Services practice (FAS), we offer advice to clients on critical financial and economic events and transactions facing their business.aa aIn our Audit & Enterprise Services practice (AERS), we provide services including financial statement, internal audit, control assurance, regulatory consulting and enterprise risk management. a The Program: a As a member of our FAS New Hire program, you will be part of a two-year rotational program which will provide you with a broad understanding of two practices within Deloitte, FAS and AERS.aaa Within FAS, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from general litigation and arbitration, buy/sell disputes, forensic investigations, securities litigation, as well as other business dispute cases.aa During your rotation in AERS, you will develop an understanding of the Deloitte audit approach, methodology, and tools, while performing analytical review of audit documents.aa You will have the opportunity to identify accounting and auditing issues and design and perform tests of internal controls. aUpon successful completion of the program, you will continue on as a senior associate in either FAS or AERS.a - Bachelor of Science/Business Administration or Master of Science in Accounting - CPA Requirements - Students interested must be graduating in 2010 - Must meet minimum requirements to sit for CPA exam before beginning full-time employment - Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.2) - Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs) - Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levelsa - Willingness to travel for out-of-town engagements About Deloitte As used in this document, "Deloitte" means Deloitte LLP and its subsidiaries.
