Location : Jersey City, NJ Experience Level : Start Date : Mon, Nov 2, 2009 Description Manager is looking for more of a business analyst and less of a technicalaperson.a The BA should have experience with Datawarehouse along with a strong orientation in the insurance industry. Experience in designing, testing and deploying applications in a BI environment. Combines multiple technologies to provide alternative physical solutions. Performs analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to design solutions for the BI environment. Understands the various types of tools and technologies on the market and their appropriate usage. Provides technical direction to developers. Coordinates and performs logical and physical systems design. Reviews and prepares system documents and specifications. Prepares reports, studies, and documentation, delivers presentations, and participates in meetings. Work with the Business users in developing BI requirements. Train them in the end product. Document and prepare training manuals. Insurance background highly preferred. Cognos background highly prefered. Datawarehouse Background is a MUSTa Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills. Experience in BI environment such as Cognos, Business Objects etc is a must. Insurance is preferred This is a leadership role among the BI team that interacts with the business and will represent the IT group. Will lead a team of eight.
