Description: - PROGRAM FINANCIAL ANALYST, PRINCIPAL (41532) Job Description PROGRAM FINANCIAL ANALYST, PRINCIPAL (41532) Finance USA-MD-Indian Head Security Clearance : Secret Clearance Status : Must be Current Schedule : Full Time Shift : None Type of Travel : Continental US Percent of Travel Required : Up to 25% Description Duties and Responsibilities: Provides expert financial management support to PMS408, the Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal/CREW program office. This is a highly visible fast-paced program offering challenging and rewarding work for the right individual. Performs complex financial analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program or programs. Acts as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues. Coordinates, negotiates and resolves financial compliance issues with various government agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements. Establishes and defines program plan requirements for assigned work. Coordinates development of acquisition program plans and interfaces with vendors and customers as required. Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that cost and schedule objectives, and obligation and expenditure benchmarks are met. Responsible for the training, motivation, discipline and performance evaluation of any assigned employees. Required Qualifications: * Active SECRET security clearance. * Experience with all phases of the DOD PPBE system, Experience with NAVSEA financial systems (PRISMS, AUTODOC, etc...) * Requires subject matter expertise in field. Requires bachelors degree (in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration) or equivalent, and 10 to 12 years of related (technical program planning and implementation, contract interpretation, budget development and/or government project administration) experience. * Requires bachelors degree (in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration) or equivalent, and 10 to 12 years of related (technical program planning and implementation, contract interpretation, budget development and/or government project administration) experience. Desired Qualifications: Experience in a range of systems acquisition programs and a working knowledge of the Navy contracting/procurement process.
