Christiana Care is currently seeking a Speech Pathologist for the Rehab Pediatrics Department. Duties include evaluation and treatment of children in the areas of expressive and receptive speech and language, swallowing and feeding, birth through school aged, a variety of diagnoses. Outpatient evaluation and treatment of children birth through school aged at the Wilmington Hospital and Springside sites. Evaluation and treatment of children birth to three in the natural environment. Treatment of children in the First State school (a school housed at Wilmington Hospital for medically fragile children K-12). Treatment of children at the Rosenblum day school at Wilmington Hospital (a school for children with psychiatric issues). Performance of multidisciplinary arena assessments at Child Development Watch Clinics. Will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists including OT, PT, and ECE. Occasional evaluation and treatment of inpatient adults required on weekends. Requirements include a Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology. A Delaware license to practice Speech Pathology is also required. Previous experience preferred.
