Overview: This position is for an experienced SAP Business Analyst with ECC exposure that will be tasked and support the existing design and drive the implementation of new functionality within the recently upgraded ECC 6.0 SAP environment. Day to day responsibilities include SAP configuration, troubleshooting, change management and user support. Areas of support may include (but not limited to) PLM, Project Systems, BW, and Plant Maintenance. Responsibilities: * Responsible for providing SAP Support within functional and technical areas of expertise. This includes interacting closely with internal customers to understand requirements, evaluating alternative solutions, resolving complex finance problems and issues, providing user training, communicating status on related projects, and thoroughly documenting proposed systems and process changes. Changes will include new reports and functionality to all business levels in the Manufacturing Organization. and appropriate integration though out the company. * Functions as the liaison with the business regarding the needs in the area of Manufacturing Operations support. * Gathers requirements and documents functional specifications - obtains approvals from the business, drives standards, utilizes a common design approach. * Collaborates with the business and the SAP process teams to prioritize requirements, new projects, and issues with existing solutions. * Project Management: deliver results through collaborative, multi-functional, distributed internal and external resources. * Solutions Architecture: translate complex business requirements into innovative technical solutions. * Systems Integration: see the overall big picture and design systems that optimize performance to both the Organizations directly supported, and in line with the IT department and company goals. Qualifications: * 6-10 years of combined SAP experience as both an implementer, and business user. Mature experience related to PLM, Project Systems, BW, and Plant Maintenance (version ECC6 would be preferred). * Experience using Solution Manager for projects is also a plus. * Configure SAP and develop/perform unit tests in accordance with established specifications. * SAP full project life cycle implementation. * Good presentation and communication skills. Educational Requirements Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related Business field, or equivalent experience Additional Requirements The individual will be proficient or knowledgeable in all skills listed below: Good analytical and problem solving skills Effective communication skills (both written and oral) Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff at all levels within the organization. Ability to comprehend and utilize new technology though self study Ability to adjust to changing priorities Close attention to detail Must be able to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.
