GENERAL SUMMARY: Provide financial planning and analysis to the designated country in Laureate International Universities (LIU). Reports to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare the monthly forecast * Support annual divisional budget preparation * Analyze financial information to explain variances and interpret results * Provide accounting expertise to assist other areas in understanding financial information * Communicate financial results to operations personnel and other levels of management in a clear manner * Create a variance analysis * Provide client assistance needed by auditors for quarterly and yearly review * Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis * Develop board presenations Experience: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: * BS in Accounting, Finance or related field required * Minimum of 3-5 years Accounting or Finance experience required, * Prefer experience in a for profit setting or public company * Very strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint experience required * Hyperion Planning System 9 or Hyperion Essbase experience a plus * Must have strong technical and automation skills * Ability to think outside the box * Excellent oral and written communication skills and able to communicate with all organizational levels * Bilingual in English and Spanish * CPA preferred Laureate Education, Inc., and all of it subsidiaries or affiliates, are equal opportunity employers.
