We are seeking a seasoned SAN Architect with solid EMC Storage Architect experience. In our State of the Art Frederick, MD facility. You will be responsible for the storage configuration and operations management, along with daily storage management tasks in a complex environment. The environment for this position contains multiple platforms of EMC storage hardware, EMC software, and other infrastructure products. You will also be responsible for ongoing improvement of processes and applying best practices for the environment based on EMC standard. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Must have 10+ or more years experience in maintaining multi-tiered storage infrastructure leveraging EMC hardware and software * Proficient in configuring EMC Symmetrix DMX, CLARiiON, and Celerra Products * Strong knowledge of LUN masking and storage Provisioning. * Must have 5 or more years experience in the installation and zoning of Fiber Switches (CISCO MDS Switches) * Solid understanding in implementing EMC Replication Manager Software for Exchange, SQL or Oracle Database in a heterogeneous environment. * Responsible for configuration, layout and performance tuning of storage infrastructure. * Plans, coordinates, and is responsible for the execution of the business continuance and disaster recovery plans per business requirements. * A bif plus if you have 5 or more years experience in implementing DR solutions which involve distance replication (i.e. FCIP, IFCP etc.) * Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and WINS infrastructure in a large corporate environment * Performs necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with change management policies. • Participate in Root Cause Analysis reviews when applicable. SKILLS REQUIRED: * BS Degree or equivalent * 10+ years in a storage / technology environment * Cross-Functional skill (Windows, Linux, and HP-UX) * Proficiency in EMC hardware, software, and/or operating systems environments * Knowledge of job associated programming and scripting languages (Perl,Shell, etc) * Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge * Knowledge of Oracle, SAP, and E-1 (a plus).
