Overview: The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and requirements development, concept development, integration and test, and performance analysis on variety of large, custom computing system projects. The individual will be responsible for the analysis and development of system requirements and architecture. The individual will ensure that the system meets defined specifications and requirements. The individual must have M.S or PhD in EE or computer science field with minimum of 10 years experience in System architecture, networking, ASIC design and specifying full system design requirements. Responsibilities: * Provide technical support in the development of technical concepts for Hardware and Software * Support the development of system and sub-system architecture * Support integration and test activities, including integration of Software and Hardware at the system level Qualifications: * 10 years experience as Systems Engineer, team leader * Ability to lead teams in a multi-discipline engineering environment * Experience with FPGA VHDL programming, PIC, C++, firmware * Experience designing Linux or custom networks from the ground up * Experience designing supercomputing systems * Controls and Systems training and experience * System Architect experience * Any level of security clearance is a plus.
