Director of Development, School of Engineering and...

To assist in management and fundraising efforts of the Office of Development and Alumni Relations in the School of Engineering and Applied Science.  A Bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization and 6 years of appropriate experience. Desired Qualifications:  A Masters degree is preferred.

Minimum of six years of higher education fundraising. Experience in a multi-unit university is particularly sought.

Minimum of three years management.

Proven track record of major gift fundraising for gifts of $100,000 to $1 million.

Strong interpersonal, supervisory and leadership skills.

Capital Campaign experience desired. Working Conditions:  The incumbent generally performs job duties in a normal business office environment. This involves working while sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. The job also includes significant event planning and execution, which requires a significant level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting office supply items that may weigh up to 20 pounds. Additionally, the incumbent may be required to attend meetings in other offices, or deliver and/or retrieve information from other offices around campus.

The ability to operate basic office equipment such as personal computers, duplicating machines, fax machines and standard office telephones may also be required. Special Instructions to Applicants:
