Description: - Language Instructor(s) Fort Meade, MD (30100) Job Description Language Instructor(s) Fort Meade, MD (30100) Information Systems USA-MD-Fort Meade Security Clearance : NACI Clearance Status : Must be Obtainable Schedule : Full Time Shift : None Type of Travel : None Percent of Travel Required : None Description Duties and Responsibilities: Develops and presents complex training programs for customers and in-house employees. Coordinates with sales, marketing, and engineering to identify program needs, obtains technical data and schedules programs. Tests trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training presentations. Conducts training programs on complex topics and designs and develops training program elements/modules. Provides guidance and direction to less experienced trainers utilizing strong technical and training skills. Requires bachelors degree (in Training/Development or related field) or equivalent and five to seven years of related (training, sales and/or technical) experience. Required Qualifications: Requires bachelors degree (in Training/Development or related field) or equivalent and five to seven years of related (training, sales and/or technical) experience. A native speaker with an ILR proficiency level 4 in reading, listening and speaking in the standard form of the language to be taught; OR A non-native speaker with an ILR proficiency level 3 in reading and listening in the standard form of the language to be taught Desired Qualifications: Five years experience in adult language education and methodology, to include: * Three years experience developing and teaching using blended learning; * Three years experience teaching language courses from basic through advanced level, witha focus on translation, grammar, listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing; * Two years experience in identifying and using authentic materials to support objectives; * Two years experience in assessing student performance. * For English as a Second Language (ESL) instructors, MA in TESOL. * For foreign language instructors (not ESL), minimum ILR level 2 in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English; and, * Two years experience with ISD.
