The candidate will be initially assigned as an instructor on the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) program and based out of the Baltimore, MD area. He/she will be responsible for research, development and presentation of modularized Operator/Maintainer training for the Client Node as well as Help Desk training using conference, hands-on practical exercises, and demonstration techniques in accordance with ARMY and TRADOC standards. The majority of this work will be performed at a contractors facility in the Baltimore, MD. Area. Occasional trips to General Dynamics? facility in Needham, MA. will also be necessary. Candidate must be able to develop training materials and documentation that are functional, intuitive, informative, and consistent with sound instructional design and adult learning principles. They must be organized and effective when working independently. They must also collaborate with General Dynamics? management teams, other instructional designers/trainers, subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, technical writers, and customers. Should have attended a military or civilian Instructional Training course and/or have significant experience training military students. Minimum of Associates Degree or equivalent experience is required. In addition, the candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of training experience, 3 of which must be in curriculum development. The candidate for this position should have successfully completed an approved instructor training course. Position Requires 20-30% travel. Must be able to travel and have a good credit history to obtain a company sponsored credit card for travel expenses. Applicant must have an active Secret or higher U.S. security clearance. Must be able to travel 20% of the time. Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required. Applicant must be a US Citizen.
