Because we are growing at a remarkable pace the Store Ops Human Resources Department has an immediate need for Store Greeters - Store Operations in Washington D.C. The Store Greeters will be responsible for executing stores daily customer service and asset protection functions in compliance with company policies. Greets customers as they enter and exit the store; assists and directs them as needed. Assists in protection of store assets through observation of customers and store associates. Must communicate frequently with the Store Manager and must assist the Store Manager in protecting Company assets. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: * Provide friendly customer service through greeting customers and directing them to shopping carts, circulars and to the appropriate area of the store. * Observe transactions at the register and activity throughout the store to ensure protection of store assets. Report any suspicious activity to Store Manager. * Make hourly walks throughout the store to ensure protection of store assets and to acknowledge and assist customers. * Check security camera and alarms daily to make sure they are functioning properly. * Daily audit of the stores sensormatic tagging and sticker compliance. * Auditing of DSD Check-in procedures * Monitor ADA Safety Requirements in the Store * Bag Checks including in store returns. * Monitor Fire and Safety Requirements * Maintain positive FDS image to customers and community. Education: General high school or GED required Qualifications EXPERIENCE: * Valid Drivers License * Reliable Transportation * Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends and holidays) * Customer Service Oriented * Professional Appearance * Excellent Verbal and Nonverbal Communication Skills * Self motivated and able to work independently of others. * Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to assist customers with merchandise, which may require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have adequate fitness level to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting.
