GENERAL SUMMARY: The faculty recruiter will be responsible for high volume recruitment activities. He/she will manage all recruitment activities within the assigned area to include: partnering with Hiring Managers to assess needs, developing an appropriate pool of qualified candidates to include networking and cold calling candidates, disposition candidates in the applicant tracking system, check references, and prepare and extend offers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for full-lifecycle recruitment from creating job descriptions, initial recruitment efforts, to the final hiring and on-boarding process of new employees * Consult with Hiring Managers to determine current and future recruitment needs (needs assessment) * Partner with business and functional leaders to develop and implement programs to support business needs; and lead recruiting projects or actively participate on committees to improve processes that add value to the assigned area * Develop and implement various recruitment strategies to source professionals in assigned areas * Place ads/postings on various internet job boards, society and association websites, print advertisements, etc. * Prepare various reports in Excel and/or Word, track advertising, and other HR related reports Experience: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: * Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or related field required. * Must have at least 4 years of high volume recruiting experience in a corporate environment and a general understanding of HR requirements * Ability to influence and work effectively with diverse teams is essential * Experience recruiting in a university setting highly preferred * Strong verbal and written communication skills, high energy, excellent follow-up skills, tenacity, and strong relationship building skills are required * Must be a self-starter who has high attention to detail, project follow-through, and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Must be proficient in MS Office applications and have experience managing the full-life cycle recruitment process utilizing an applicant tracking system (Kenexa Webhire experience a plus) LICENSURE and/or CERTIFICATION SHRM Certification preferred, but not required Laureate Education, Inc., and all of it subsidiaries or affiliates, are equal opportunity employers.
