CLERK SR

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, associate is responsible for greeting and registration of patients. Schedules patient exams in IDX-Rad. Verifies insurance for both scheduled and walk-in patients. Associates are responsible for cash collection and obtaining pre-authorization for Radiology exams. Makes payment plans if necessary. Ensure billing and registration information is accurate and entered in the computer. Responds to billing inquiries. Acts as a liaison between the insurance company and the hospital. May lead and train new associates. Performs related work as required.
