GENERAL SUMMARY: The Executive Search Recruiter will be responsible for identifying top senior level talent across all LHEG business groups. This position will be responsible for the identification, recruitment and on-boarding of senior level leaders throughout the organization. The area of focus will be in the online and campus based higher education space to include C-level, Vice Presidents and Director level talent across all business functions. This effort will include the development of a comprehensive search strategy, compilation of a target list of companies and candidates in the appropriate market space, construction of detailed status reports, analysis of our key competitor talent pools and on-going, consistent and detailed communication with the candidate as well as the appropriate senior business leader for LHEG. He/she will manage all recruitment activities for all senior level searches across the LHEG portfolio. This includes developing an appropriate applicant pool of senior level, top notch qualified candidates, creating job descriptions, networking and cold calling candidates, as well as partnering with senior leadership to assess current needs as well as future strategic hiring needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for full-lifecycle recruitment from creating job descriptions, developing a comprehensive search strategy, sourcing and initial recruitment efforts, to the final hiring and on-boarding process of senior level new hires. * Consult with senior leadership team and hiring managers to determine current and future recruitment needs; conduct on-going needs assessment to develop a talent pool for future business and organizational needs * Effectively assess candidates probability of offer acceptance; identify other competing opportunities, conduct a complete review of the current compensation package to include senior level incentives, discuss employment agreement to include confidentiality and non-complete terms, negotiate final offer at a level that prospective hire will accept, and conduct a discussion in preparation for counter offer and other resignation coaching as needed. * Identify passive, senior level talent through non-traditional methods including social networking, AIRS techniques (Boolean, flipping, peeling, x-raying), cold calling and external networking. * Individual will be responsible for identifying key competitors, conducting cold calls, and leveraging contacts within specific industries. * Development of a pipeline of top notch, senior level talent based on knowledge of companys strategic needs and future talent requirements. Develop and implement various recruitment strategies to source senior level professionals in the targeted areas. * Responsible for the negotiation, management and tracking all special payment incentives associated with hiring senior level professionals to include sign-on bonuses, relocation and potential performance/retention bonuses. * Place ads/postings on various internet job boards, society and association websites, print advertisements, etc. * Prepare various reports in Excel and/or Word, track advertising, and other HR related reports Experience: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: * Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or related field required * 10-15 years of executive search experience with the demonstrated ability to attract and place senior level talent, preferably with experience in the higher education area * Expereince working for an executive search firm handling senior level positions (VP President to C-level roles) * Experience recruiting highly credentialed individuals with Fortune 1000 background. * Individual must possess a solid understanding of HR requirements, employment law and OFCCP reporting * Ability to influence and work effectively with a senior level audience, both candidates and internal leadership team, is essential * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information to a senior level audience * High energy, excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills, tenacity, and strong relationship building skills are required * Must possess ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Must be proficient in MS Office applications and have experience managing the full life cycle recruitment process utilizing an applicant tracking system LICENSURE and/or CERTIFICATION: * SHRM Certification preferred, but not required BUSINESS COMPETENCIES: * Strong organizational, analytical, and detailed planning/project management skills.
