Budgets/Contracts ManagerPosted: November 19, 2009
The Contracts/Budgets Manager will provide expertise to the Business Development department by developing short and long term contracts and budgets for clients.
• Works with Clinical Operations and BD staff in reviewing request for proposals (RFPs) • Prepares Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs), Insurance Certificates, Consultancy Agreements, Task Orders, and Payment Schedules • Follow-up with legal staff on the status of agreements under review • Creates study budgets • Assists in developing and improving pricing strategies to ensure contracts maximize financial return to SNBL while satisfying customer/market competitive needs. • Work with outside vendors for outsourcing needs and costing • Maintain contract files and database • Work with accounting department to ensure accurate invoicing of clients
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance or related field
5-7 years experience in contracts negotiation and budget creation
Experience in clinical research or pre-clinical research preferred
High degree of organizational skills.
Computer literacy with document and spreadsheet applications.
Strong negotiation skills.
