Title: E-Business Analyst Location: New Jersey-Franklin Lakes This position will be a member of the Corporate Supply Chain Group on the E-Business Services Team responsible for driving automation through the implementation of EDI transactions and interacting with technical and business process areas to ensure E-Commerce needs are met. The E-Business Services team supports BD USA Business Units and External Trading Partners. External Trading Partners include Distributors, Direct Accounts, IDNs, Financial Institutions, Freight Forwarders, Carriers, and Suppliers. Implementation activities include account qualification, specification and map analysis, SAP test EDI setups, end-to-end testing, results validation, promotion tasks as well as monitoring and maintenance of the EDI account base. This position will also be responsible for supporting the E-Business Team's mapping development as needed utilizing the GXS Application Integrator Platform. Provide EDI Production Support by researching and resolving questions, failures and issues. Build business cases, design and execute test scenarios, stage and process data, and document test results in EIT Matrix for SAP R/3 changes impacting EDI. This position requires strong analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills. Must have superior organizational and multi-tasking skills and a broad knowledge of business processes. Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with both internal and external technical and non-technical groups and have demonstrated presentation and documentation skills. Candidate should be self-motivating and able to work independently while sharing knowledge and mentoring other team members. The qualified candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of EDI implementation experience. Applicants should be proficient in the ANSI X.12 and XML formats and have working knowledge of SAP R/3 Idoc structures, processing and EDI set-ups. Minimum of 3 years experience with map development utilizing GXS Application Integrator system preferred. Basic knowledge of BW Queries, EDISIM, and Editor tools needed.
