Responsibilities Seeking a Real Estate Finance Professional with 3-5 years of finance/ valuation/ structuring experience in commercial real estate to provide analytical support for our retail real estate capital markets group. Must understand and be able to articulate the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures associated with commercial real estate finance, including but not limited to investment analysis.

Requires strong computer and writing skills with an emphasis on Argus and Excel modeling. Institutional analyst training background required, retail preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -.    Provide financial evaluation, modeling, structuring and analysis for income producing investment grade retail properties. -.    Due diligence coordination and preparation. -.    Assist team in day-to-day responsibilities, which include the preparation of offering materials and transactional support and negotiation. -.    Gather property specific & market information by researching a variety of sources including, but not limited to, industry, regulatory and economic information, financial periodicals and newspapers, mortgage and lease documents, demographic data, property information and company records. -.    Organize, evaluate, interpret and summarize data. -.    Prepare a variety of analyses, statements and reports for senior team members to review; works with marketing assistants in preparation of maps, graphics or illustrations to include with research findings and offering materials. -.    Interface with clients, equity investors, lenders, etc., to complete tasks, execute investment sales and document negotiations including working with local Capital Markets professionals to obtain comparables and debt quotes. -.    Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity. -.    Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor• Ts degree; with three to five years related professional experience. MBA or MS degree a plus. Real Estate licenses in DC, VA and/or MD a plus. Investment Sales, Commercial Real Estate, Investment Banking and Finance related experience a plus.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
